Combat Sambo Federation of Ukraine
Public organization "Combat Sambo Federation of Ukraine (FBSU) - an independent national organizations of physical culture and sports areas, whose main goal is to protect the legitimate interests of the members of the Federation, the popularization of combat sambo, facilitating further growth of physical and spiritual development of Ukrainian citizens.
Combat Sambo Federation of Ukraine was registered by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on February 4, 2005, certificate of registration number 2206.
February 16, 2009 Board of the Ministry of Ukraine for Family, Youth and Sports, martial samboofitsialno recognized as a separate sport in Ukraine, the order of Ministry of Ukraine for Family, Youth and Sport of the February 19, 2009 № 428.
Combat Sambo Federation President of Ukraine - Veliyev Elkhan Nazimovich - master of sports of the USSR in wrestling, merited master of combat sambo world champion in freestyle wrestling among veterans, world champion in Combat Sambo veterans.
Combat Sambo Federation of Ukraine, which was composed of representatives of the sports society: "Dinamo", "Ukraine", "Kolos", "CSKA", brought together representatives of the titled and famous martial arts, athletes, coaches and public figures.
Created and pass a state registration authorities of the Ministry of Justice of the Federation regional representation in more than 20 regions of Ukraine.
Forthcoming manuals and specialized literature, is working to ensure the conditions necessary for the preparation of the Federation staff.
Combat Sambo Federation of Ukraine represents the interests of our country in combat sambo in the World Combat Sambo Federation and the World Association of Clubs of combat sambo.
Historically, that since its inception Combat Sambo was closed air combat, which was supplied to law enforcement officials, however, since 2001, Combat Sambo is an open view of martial arts in which competitions are held in national and international levels.
In 2002, the first championship was held in Ukraine in Combat Sambo, which was formed by the combined team of Ukraine to participate at the World Championship in Combat Sambo in Greece, where our athletes won 1 gold, 4 silver and 2 bronze awards.
In 2003, the Ukrainian team in Combat Sambo World Cup in France, won 2 gold, 5 silver and 2 bronze medals.
In 2004 at the European Championships (Lithuania), our athletes won 2 gold, 4 silver and 2 bronze awards.
And also at the world championships in 2004 in the Czech Republic national team of Ukraine in combat sambo has won 1 gold, 7 silver and 1 bronze medals.
In 2005, the Ukrainian national team took part in the World Cup among the security forces and won 2 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze awards as well as our combat sambo demonstrated their skills at the world championships in Moscow, where in the team event took 2 nd place of honor among the teams from 22 countries, winning 1 gold, 5 silver and one bronze award.
In 2006, in Moscow, the combined team of Ukraine took the 2 team and won 3 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals.
In 2007 in Moscow, the combined team of Ukraine took the 2 team and won 2 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals.
In 2008, the city of Khimki, Moscow region combined team of Ukraine took the 2 team and won 3 gold and 3 silver medals.
Ukrainian Team Combat Sambo is one of the strongest teams in the world themselves.
By number of victories of our athletes are second only to national team of Russia. This shows great potential and professionalism of Ukrainian combat sambo.
Combat Sambo - a spectacular and promising sport that accumulate the most effective techniques of the 52 types of martial arts. Its arsenal includes the best techniques from judo, sambo wrestling, freestyle wrestling, jiu-dzhidtsu, karate, boxing, kickboxing and other martial arts. Every year the number of those. Who are engaged in combat sambo in Ukraine is growing rapidly.
We are confident that combat sambo close in spirit, philosophy and ideology of the majority of our countrymen, and indeed may become a basis for consolidation of Ukrainian society, uniting the youth sports groups and the yard of the Palace of Sports.
